The European Handball Federation (EHF) has announced the host nations for the Men’s EHF Euro in 2030 and 2032, as well as the Women’s EHF Euro in 2032.

The 2030 men’s tournament will take place in Czechia, Poland and Denmark, with the 2032 men’s event to be co-hosted by Germany and France. The women’s tournament in 2032 will be held in Germany, Denmark and Poland.

The EHF said that no applications have been admitted for the Women’s EHF Euro 2030.

Prague will serve as the focal point for the 2030 men’s tournament, while Katowice in Poland and Herning in Denmark will serve as the two additional host cities. Czechia will make its debut as host of the Men’s EHF Euro, while Denmark will be hosting for the third time and Poland previously hosted in 2016.

The host venues for the 2030 tournament are Prague’s 17,500-capacity O2 Arena (pictured), Herning’s 16,000-capacity Jyske Bank Boxen, and the 11,000-capacity Arena Spodek in Katowice. The final weekend will be in Prague.

In 2032, France and Germany will co-host the men’s EHF Euro together for the first time. The event will be played in six arenas: two in France and four in Germany.

A final selection of host venues has not been made, but the plans include La Défense Arena in Paris and Cologne’s Lanxess Arena, which has hosted the men’s EHF Final4 club competition since 2010. Munich’s new SAP Garden arena will also be used.

The 2032 women’s tournament has not yet finalised its host cities in Germany and Denmark, but the Polish section of the event will be held in Katowice. The bid includes Odense, Aalborg, Herning and Aarhus as potential Danish host cities, and Hamburg, Magdeburg, Leipzig, Berlin and Kiel as possible host cities in Germany.
