Wembley Stadium has appointed a new advisory board to oversee the future development of the venue.

Vinai Venkatesham, the former chief executive of Arsenal, will serve as chair of the board. Venkatesham (pictured) left Arsenal in the summer after 14 years with the club.

The advisory board will also include Peter Hutton, who will focus on digital; Chuck Steedman, who will cover commercial; and Andrew Amery, who will hold responsibility for safety and security.

Steedman formerly served as chief operating and development officer at AEG, and executive vice-president of strategy and development at ASM Global. Hutton is an experienced sports executive and holds several advisory roles, while Amery is a senior security advisor for the International Olympic Committee.

The advisory board will report directly to the FA board.

Generator Studio, a Kansas City-based architecture and interior design firm which oversaw the landmark CPKC Stadium project, has announced the expansion of its leadership team with the addition of Peter Baird, Christina Franklin and Andrew Kesel.

The three join co-founders Tom Proebstle and Mike Kress on the ownership team, with the announcement marking the first change to Generator Studio’s ownership in its 15-year history.

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) has announced that Stacey Allaster will transition from her position as chief executive of professional tennis and US Open tournament director to a special advisory role.

The USTA said the evolution of Allaster’s role will provide her with flexibility and time to pursue additional interests. She will transition to the new position following next year’s US Open.

Allaster joined the USTA in 2016 as chief executive of professional tennis and has served as US Open tournament director since 2020. She previously served as chairman and chief executive of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).

The Murrayfield Experience, the new hospitality and events brand launched by the Edinburgh venue, has appointed Stuart Fraser as its executive chef.

Fraser previously held positions such as senior banqueting chef and executive head chef at the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews, and head chef at Genting Casinos and Lindisfarne Hotels.

The Murrayfield Experience was rolled out during the recent Autumn Nations Series matches and is designed to offer a wider range of tailored services for events of all sizes.
