PostFinance has extended its partnership with Swiss ice hockey club SC Bern, ensuring that the team’s home venue will continue to be known as the PostFinance Arena.

The new deal will run until the end of the 2026-27 season. The agreement will grant PostFinance prominent brand exposure around the arena, including in VIP seats and standing areas.

The company’s logo also features on the back of SC Bern’s jerseys and the new deal will include sponsorship of the women’s team.

PostFinance has been involved in Swiss ice hockey since the 2001-02 season and it has served as the title sponsor of the domestic women’s league since 2022-23. This deal has been extended until the end of the 2026-27 season.

Commenting on the new deal to sponsor the Women’s League, PostFinance chief executive Beat Röthlisberger said: “The topics of diversity, equality and performance orientation are firmly anchored in our strategy. We are actively committed to equal opportunities – not only in the company, but also in our partnerships.

“We want the players to be able to achieve their sporting goals under the best possible conditions and the league to be further strengthened as a platform for ambitious talents.”

PostFinance has sponsored SC Bern’s arena since 2007. The arena has a capacity of 17,000 and is also used to host music concerts and other events.

PostFinance Arena has hosted the Ice Hockey World Championship, as well as the European Figure Skating Championships and European Gymnastics Championships.
