FC Barcelona has launched VIP Ring Seats at the new Spotify Camp Nou, marking the final premium seat offerings available at the redeveloped stadium.

There will be a total of 1,500 VIP Ring Seats in the corners of the first new VIP ring at the stadium. The seats are now available to purchase and will be priced at between €5,500 (£4,600/$5,700) and €9,000 per season.

Barcelona said the seats will offer a prime location from which to enjoy the match and gain exclusive access to various hospitality lounges and VIP areas.

The club said that VIP spots at the revamped Camp Nou are becoming “increasingly scarce” due to the strong response to premium seating options that are already available. Some 60% of VIP seats have already been sold, with all boxes and loge seats sold out.

Players Zone seats, located in the first tier, have also sold out, although tickets remain available for pitch row seats, balcony seats, premium seats in the first VIP ring, and selected VVIP suites.

Last week, Barcelona president Joan Laporta revealed that the club had sold a portion of VIP boxes at the stadium in a move that will allow it to remain in-line with the league’s financial fair play restrictions.

Barcelona said the sale of the VIP seats, along with the club’s new kit contract with Nike, were the two most important factors that led to Spain’s Higher Sports Council (CSD) granting a “provisional reprieve” in its ongoing battle against LaLiga.

It was reported that Barcelona had sold 500 VIP seats at the stadium for a period of 30 years, which will generate an initial €100m in income for the club, in addition to guaranteed payments over the course of the subscription period. The identity of the companies that invested was not revealed, but one will come from Qatar and the other will be from the United Arab Emirates.

In total, there will be 9,400 VIP seats and spaces at the new-look Camp Nou, which has been undergoing renovation work since 2023. Barcelona has been playing at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys since the start of the 2023-24 season.

It was confirmed last week that Barcelona would not return to the Camp Nou until May at the earliest. In an email to supporters, Barcelona announced the extension of the season ticket for the Estadi Olímpic until April 23, the date of the club’s LaLiga match against RCD Mallorca.

The Camp Nou will reopen in stages and the stadium remains on track to be fully operational by 2026. The capacity of the stadium will be around 62,000 when it reopens but this will increase to 105,000 once the work is completed.
