Oak View Group, the global venue development, advisory and investment company, has been announced as the exclusive food and beverage provider for Allegiant Stadium, home of the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders.

The wide-ranging deal between the Raiders and OVG officially begins on April 1. OVG said the partnership will provide “best in class” food and beverage services, enhanced premium offerings, and broader entertainment options for fans.

OVG will replace Levy as Allegiant Stadium’s food and beverage provider. Levy was awarded the contract in September 2019, a year before the venue opened.

In a LinkedIn post last week, Levy revealed that its partnership with Allegiant had come to an end. The post noted that Raiders owner Mark Davis recently sold a minority stake in the Raiders to Egon Durban, co-chief executive of private equity firm Silver Lake, which is also a substantial investor in OVG.

“While we’re incredibly proud of our work at Allegiant Stadium, and our strong reputation as the leaders in the industry, the common ownership interest of both the Raiders and OVG was impossible to overcome,” Levy said. “We want to thank the Raiders for the partnership and memories. To Raider Nation, it’s been an honour to serve you, host you and celebrate the community with you.”

OVG will place a focus on premium quality, fan-friendly technologies, sustainability practices and community investment. The company’s culinary team will create a range of offerings for Raiders fans, from classic game-day dishes to premium experiences. An emphasis will also be placed on locally sourced ingredients and eco-friendly packaging.

Raiders president Sandra Douglass Morgan said: “The Raiders are thrilled to announce our new food and beverage partnership with Oak View Group – a collaboration that lays the foundation for expanding the fan experience for years to come.

“Together with Allegiant Stadium, we are committed to delivering top-tier service, outstanding food and beverage options, and dynamic entertainment that transform every game day and event into an unforgettable experience. We look forward to an exciting future with OVG where our fans enjoy even more ways to connect with the Raiders and fully embrace every moment at Allegiant Stadium.”

Chris Granger, president of the OVG360 venue management firm, added: “As venue owners ourselves, we recognise that every detail matters in creating a truly exceptional experience. We are excited to work alongside the Raiders with our shared commitment to community impact, gracious hospitality, and relentless innovation, ensuring that together, we’ll shape an unparalleled experience for all who visit this iconic venue for years to come. We look forward to serving the Las Vegas community and Raider Nation with pride.”

OVG also manages Formula 1’s Las Vegas Grand Prix. The agreement with the Raiders strengthens OVG’s presence in the city, where the company is planning on building a new 20,000-seat arena.

In March 2022, OVG announced plans for a $3bn (£2.38bn/€2.86bn) district in Las Vegas that will be anchored by a multi-purpose arena. OVG is yet to break ground on the project and there have been reports that the company is planning on moving the district to a new site in the city.

OVG operates the Co-op Live arena in Manchester, as well as Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena, New York’s UBS Arena and Baltimore’s CFG Bank Arena.
