UFC, WWE and Professional Bull Riders (PBR) will head to Kansas City’s T-Mobile Center in April for a landmark ‘TKO Takeover’ event.

TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of UFC and WWE, has announced plans for the event, which will take place from April 24-28. TKO is also in the process of acquiring PBR.

The presenting sponsor of the event will be blockchain solutions company VeChain, an existing partner of UFC.

The event will begin with PBR on April 24 and continue with UFC Fight Night on April 26. The event will then conclude on April 28 with WWE’s flagship weekly programme, Raw.

T-Mobile Center will be the first venue to host a TKO Takeover as part of an agreement facilitated by the Kansas City Sports Commission. An all-in-one ticket bundle comprising all three events will go on sale on Monday.

Additional details about athletes and bull riders will be announced in the coming weeks.

Peter Dropick, executive vice-president of event development and operations for TKO, said: “Kansas City has collectively hosted dozens of UFC, WWE, and PBR events over the years, and it has become a top destination for each of these respective promotions.

“This is a unique opportunity to showcase these three premier properties in one city at the same time for the benefit of fans and visitors to the area. We thank the Kansas City Sports Commission and the management at T-Mobile Center for making this possible.”

Jay Cooper, general manager at T-Mobile Center, added: “Our longstanding relationship with UFC, WWE and PBR has resulted in some of T-Mobile Center’s most memorable events. The three together in one action-packed week will be an exciting opportunity for our guests to experience the very best in sports. We are honoured that TKO chose T-Mobile Center as the first location for this world-class event package.”

Meanwhile, WWE has announced that its 2026 WrestleMania event will be held at the Caesars Superdome, home of the NFL’s New Orleans Saints.

The event will take place on April 11-12 next year. The Superdome has hosted the event twice before, in 2014 and 2018, and staged the NFL’s Super Bowl earlier this month.

As well as WrestleMania, WWE will take Raw, SmackDown, NXT Stand & Deliver, WWE World and the 2026 Hall of Fame ceremony to New Orleans.

The 2025 WrestleMania event will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 19-20.

TKO has also announced its full-year financials for 2024, with the company’s revenue increasing by 67% to $2.804bn (£2.21bn/€2.68bn). WWE’s revenue increased to $1.398bn, while UFC’s increased to $1.406bn.
