Experienced industry executive Nick Byrom has launched notewell, an international advisory firm dedicated to helping rights holders, brands and venues maximise commercial value in the sports and entertainment market.

Based in London, notewell will focus on two core business areas. It will provide strategic, operational and commercial guidance to both sport and entertainment venues, as well as rights holders, across all aspects of venue sales, premium experiences and catering operations.

Notewell will also introduce a fractional sales service, offering specialist commercial expertise to category-exclusive companies such as those in catering, facilities management, technology and luxury goods.

Byrom has over 25 years of experience in the sports and entertainment industry. After departing following close to five years as business development director for sports and leisure at Sodexo Live! back in March 2022, he worked on a consultancy basis before founding notewell.

During this consultancy period, Byrom worked with the Aramark Sports & Entertainment team to secure their first stadium contract in the UK. In August, Everton brought in Aramark to support its new stadium project in what was described as one of the biggest commercial deals in the Premier League club’s history.

Byrom provided consultancy support with the Aramark Spain catering team and Atlético de Madrid’s senior team to overhaul the general admission concessions and technology, fan zone offering and provide a new premium experiences strategy at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano.

Byrom has also recently worked with the senior team at Atlético’s fellow LaLiga club, Real Betis, on its major stadium redevelopment project.
