Roig Arena, a new 18,600-capacity arena opening in Valencia later this year, has agreed a sponsorship deal with consumer electronics company LG.
As part of the agreement, LG Electronics España will provide 1,700 square metres of LED screens at the arena. This will include a four-sided central video scoreboard and a 520-square-metre indoor LED screen.
Roig Arena will host concerts and other entertainment events, and will also serve as the home of Valencia Basket. Once open, it will be the largest arena in Spain, overtaking Madrid’s Movistar Arena (formerly known as WiZink Center).
The arena recently agreed a sponsorship deal with LaLiga football club Villarreal, while in January Heineken España was announced as the first founding partner of the venue.

Víctor Sendra Peretó, general manager of Roig Arena, added: “This investment in innovation will enhance the impact of the events hosted by the venue, positioning us at the forefront of the industry.”
Roig Arena has already been awarded hosting rights for the 2026 and 2027 editions of basketball’s Copa del Rey tournament.
The arena project has been financed by Juan Roig, the billionaire president of supermarket chain Mercadona. In November, it emerged that Roig had assumed full control of the venue through his Licampa 1617 holding company, which now holds 100% of shares in the facility.
