Role Purpose
As we gear up to our first announcements and on sales, we’re looking for an Assistant Ticketing Manager to join the team. Working alongside the Ticketing Manager you will create the ultimate customer journey for our fans and artists coming to Manchester.
Accessibility for fans and artists is really important to us. You will be in tune and drive forward our venue being fully accessible and inclusive to everyone, as we get closer to opening our world class planet friendly venue.
Role Responsibilities
  • Have a genuine passion for supporting the implementation of the venues accessibility policies, adapt based on legislation changes and customer’s needs
  • Support the team in managing high volume telephone calls and emails
  • Collaborate with other departments to be ahead of our customer’s needs, providing up to date accessibility information and insight in relation to events
  • Gear up the ticketing team members and partners so they have all the right information and a clear understanding of the venue, upcoming events, accessible seating policies and procedures
  • Build strong, positive, engaging rapport and communication with ticket agents, event organisers/promoters and internal departments which puts our fans, artists and community first
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships to support internal departments with integration of ticketing processes to ensure efficiency across multiple teams
  • Take charge of and effectively manage seating configurations on Ticketmaster’s Systems (TM1 and Archtics)
  • Know our ticket sales, monitor and provide prompt accurate sales reports and breakdowns prior to and on event days to the Ticketing Manager and Head of Ticketing
  • Collaborate with all venue partners to ensure they have the best experience for their ticket allocations, ensuring the process is efficiently managed in line with contractual rights
  • Support the attraction and build of a brilliant ticketing team, assisting with training and guidance to the ticketing team members
  • Be one team, exceeding the ultimate customer experience for every fan on the lead up to and on event days
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
  • Previous experience working in a ticket office or customer service environment with an in depth knowledge of Disability Discrimination Act requirements
  • Understand ticketing software, systems and price scaling models
  • Proficient in the use of excel (or similar products)
  • Thrive when its buzzing and show resilience to make decisions in a busy environment
  • Able to multitask and prioritise work effectively
  • A team player who enjoys working in a high achieving environment
  • Drive strong interpersonal skills, creating and fostering relationships
  • Promote the Co-op Live brand and values in a positive and professional manner
  • Comfortable handling own operational workload as well as supporting others
  • Delivering an exceptional customer service to our customers ensuring accessibility to the venue is for everyone
  • Be open to learning and building an in-depth knowledge of the venue’s facilities

Salary:
Up to £30,000 plus benefits
