Who are we: We are Everton Football Club and we are icons of world football. As one of the bastions of the global game, with a rich and successful history, we are now setting our sights on a new, exciting future.

With a proud and illustrious past, the Club is currently embarking on a new and exciting journey with the construction of our new stadium on the banks of the River Mersey. With that exciting development comes an ambition to have a Men’s and Women’s First Team squad that is competing regularly at the top of domestic and European football.

Our values underpin how we behave, how we represent our club in our city, and across the world of football, and how we look after one another daily. They provide a framework for how we work with partners, suppliers, and most importantly our fans.

About the opportunity: We are extremely excited to be searching for a Data Executive to join our Data Science and Insight Team within the Marketing Department on a fixed term basis. As Data Executive, you will work closely alongside your Data Engineer and Data Scientist colleagues to ensure that the team can fully support the club in all ongoing commercial and new stadium related projects.

The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of data related tasks and providing ongoing support to a variety of departments across the club including Ticketing, Venue Experience and Commercial and you will play a vital role in coordinating several key operational processes where data is an essential element.

Tasks will range from data cleansing and preparation, to using data to problem solve and helping to further develop the Club’s Single Supporter View. Possessing strong problem-solving skills and having a genuine interest in and understanding of all things data will be key to this role.

Who we’re looking for: We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of data and the various ways that it can be used to further inform Club decisions. We are keen to hear from candidates who can evidence their passion for data in a previous role or part of their educational experience.

If you are passionate about working for a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation, being a part of a team that can make a difference and you’re a self-starter with ambitious spirit who is prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, execute against ambitious targets and consistently embrace our Everton values in what you do, then we would love to hear from you!

This position is on a 6 month project contract, and will be 35 hours per week.
