Trivandi is a global leader in the delivery and operation of major events and venues. Born out of the senior leadership team who planned, delivered and operated the London 2012 Venues and Olympic Park, in 2013, Trivandi was set up to share their knowledge and expertise in venues and mega events, providing strategic consulting, assurance and implementation services. Trivandi have worked on events such as the Olympic Games, Super Bowl, Commonwealth Games, FIFA World Cup, World Expos, as well as venues including the Eden Project, QPR FC, Aston Villa FC, Twickenham (RFU), Urban Adventure, Brentford FC, the London Olympic Park and London Stadium.

Trivandi are seeking a Director of Venues and Infrastructure, who will join the senior leadership team at a very exciting point in the company’s growth. The company has just signed over 100 contracts to deliver highly prestigious events, venues and infrastructure projects in 25 countries around the world, and the successful candidate will be leading Venues & Infrastructure and project teams to deliver on these projects.

Working from Trivandi’s headquarters in the City of London, the successful candidate must be a highly motivated, proactive, driven and dynamic individual, with a track record of growing and leading high performing teams and nurturing internal talent. A key player in the venues and infrastructure industry, you will bring a wealth of knowledge and a personal network of contacts and a skill for seeking out and developing new business opportunities.

You’ll be expected to deliver on Project Development, Programme Management and Project Management, taking the lead on projects and demonstrating an understanding of business planning, venue operation, commercial operations and design & construction disciplines.

A relevant degree and demonstrable track record of leading complex real estate development projects and post-qualification experience at a senior leadership level is key to this role, but a RIBA, RICS or ICE qualification is desirable. You must also possess….

  • Ability to open up new opportunities and secure new business
  • Acute commercial awareness, with experience of making sound business decisions and negotiating contracts
  • Experience of the commercialisation of complex real estate projects eg stadia, arenas, destinations
  • Experience within the sports/venues sector, with a ready-made network of industry contacts
