The Opportunity
As a General Manager of our football operation, you will be responsible for effectively and profitably
managing all aspects of our hospitality operation. At Highmark Stadium, we provide food and beverage for concessions, luxury suites, catering, premium food and beverage in clubs, and team dining for our partner the NFL’s Buffalo Bills. Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $104100 – $140500 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities
- Maintain positive client relations through effective communication and prudent financial practices, while providing efficient services and quality products.
- Develop and manage all vendor relationships.
- Hire, train, and develop management team and ensure all team members at the venue are supported and managed effectively in order to provide an optimal experience for guests and team members.
- Determine and control staffing levels in an effort to maximize net returns to Delaware North and the client while maintaining guest service levels.
- Make operational recommendations and establish prices for products and services within approved budget.
- Be held accountable for establishing and maintaining proper safety and sanitation procedures as well as ensuring proper repair and maintenance of food service equipment.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations regarding sale of alcohol, OSHA, payroll, employment, and EEO guidelines.
- Verify, prepare, and submit reports and monthly projections as required as well as ensure effective systems for finance, inventory, and payroll procedures are in place.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10-12 years’ management experience in the contract foodservice industry, encompassing in premium services, catering, and concessions in a sports venue.
- Experience operating in a NFL facility, sports or entertainment venue with a minimum of $20 million in annual revenue.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or similar.
- Operational financial management accountability and budgeting experience.
- Prior project management experience preferred.
