PTI are looking for an ambitious, innovative graphic designer to create brand-aligned materials for the centralised marketing, content, and overall design function for the PTI global business. If you love sport, love live entertainment and love creating high-quality, engaging content that drives business success, we want you on our team!

We work with over 75 clubs and venues across the UK and Ireland, covering 40% of the Premier League, 70% of the EFL Championship and 49/92 professional football clubs in England. We also work with brands and agencies, connecting them to sport and entertainment audiences through digital advertising inventory. Specialists in the sport and entertainment industry, the head office is UK-based, whilst also expanding into Spain and Australia in 2020 and North America in 2021.

PTI work across a turnkey digital offering; consultation > technology selection > deployment > commercialisation and are strengthening our team to support our growing client base and global expansion plans across this offering.

The person in this role will need to take the brand to the next level as we penetrate new markets. Given the nature of the sports and entertainment industry, the business and role are fast paced, meaning some evening and weekend work may be required.

The Candidate 

  • The candidate will have a passion for sports and entertainment and looking for their next move to be in a fast-paced business, taking on responsibility for the creative design across multiple markets and regions
  • They will have experience in creating various types of content for mobile, desktop, email, digital ads, social media, client presentations and other assets across all channels and departments
  • They will be excited by the size of the opportunity to grow internally and embrace the fail fast, learn fast innovation culture of the business
  • The candidate will be energised by the fast growth business mindset and engaged in the multiple market approach

 Objectives of the Role

  • Create and develop graphics, illustrations, and diagrams for use on internal and external communications within established brand guidelines
  • Have the confidence and ability to take a brief from concept to delivery with minimal supervision and within set deadlines
  • Maintain consistency and have a clear brand vision with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Support all teams and departments with design requirements, including but not limited to digital material, email, social media, presentations, and proposals
  • Video concept creation, recording and editing for items such as podcasts, case studies and vlogs
  • Prioritise and schedule workload to meet deadlines
  • Manage all projects effectively to agreed standards, ensure team members can always access current work

Skills and Competencies

Essential

  • Ability to communicate fresh ideas and visual concepts for a wide array of digital and print campaigns with passion and enthusiasm
  • Enterprise skills in design and video/photo-editing software (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Adobe Suite, Canva)
  • Keen attention to detail, with a high-level of accuracy
  • Skilled in design of new material that is suited to the target audience and fits brand guidelines
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, trustworthy, and able to work to demanding deadlines
  • Ability to manage own workload, including logging hours and activity on web-based CRM and project management tools
  • The ability to work independently from home

Desired

  • 12 months in a similar role, ideally in the sports and entertainment field; be that club or venue
  • Experience in taking a strategic approach to design briefs, making connections between audiences and actions
  • Portfolio of creative work showcasing concepts that engage multiple audiences
  • Project management skills and an understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, global environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales
  • Experience in recording, editing, and publishing podcasts and video case studies
  • Strong content ideation capabilities to align with the set-out marketing strategy
