An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspiring Head of Operations to join Fulham Football Club Foundation, with responsibility for leading Fulham FC Foundation’s programmes and activities, through cross team collaboration and efficient use of resources.

The Head of Operations will provide leadership and direction for Managers and Officers within the Foundation delivery team, with a focus on increasing the success and sustainability of existing programmes and identifying opportunities to develop new activities and ways of working.

In this role you will be responsible for several programmes, working with the Head of Programme Development and wider team to ensure impact, quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness of all activities.  You will regularly liaise with internal partners and will represent the Foundation with external stakeholders including local authorities, public health units, educational providers, and charities as well as our beneficiaries and their families.

You will ensure the impact assessment process is fully embedded in our work and all programmes clearly demonstrate progress towards Foundation strategic outcomes and key performance indicators.  You will oversee the recruitment, deployment, and retention of our delivery workforce, in line with Safeguarding Policy and support our aim of being outstanding employer within our industry.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring safeguarding policies, processes and standards are adhered to across all of Fulham FC Foundation’s activities and that quality standards are met
  • Generating income through multiple sources, including identifying and sourcing funding
  • Assessing and managing complex budgets

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience in improving service delivery and generating income within non-profit, commercial or sport organisations and be able to evidence the leading of cross functional teams in successful collaborations. You will have excellent communication skills and be confident in your approach to working with stakeholders.  Knowledge of safeguarding and experience of safeguarding procedures in the protection of children and vulnerable adults is also essential.  You will be a leader and role model within the team, both in terms of your personal conduct and your skills and knowledge.
