RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Health, Safety and Compliance

TERMS: Full-time role subject to a three-month probationary period

THE ROLE

London Stadium has a new position for full time Health and Safety Manager to join the team and be an industry lead on occupational health & safety, project safety, event safety and site conversion safety for major events.

You will be working with the Director of Health, Safety & Compliance and the Safety Officer to ensure that all stadium occupational health & safety, events and site build and break run smoothly and safely from a compliance and operational perspective. This exciting new opportunity is your chance to take the health and safety lead on occupational health & safety, events and general building safety management to ensure that safety is the number one priority for staff, contractors and event attendees. You will be responsible for the stadium’s Health and Safety Management Systems, statutory compliance, contractor guidance and H&S continuous improvement. This role requires an event, property and construction safety expert.

The successful candidate for this role will have a solid track record in Health & Safety preferably within an Event and/or Construction environment, with strong knowledge of site build and management within sports or music venues. You will hold a minimum of the NEBOSH General Certificate.
