TERMS: Full-time, permanent role subject to a 3-month probationary period

THE ROLE

London Stadium are looking for a Junior Systems Engineer to join the team to support the IT Manager with support for all IT infrastructure for the stadium and event requirements. The successful candidate will be required to assist the IT team in the operational and technical success of events taking place at London Stadium as well as the day to day running of IT systems.  This will include dealing with hardware and software enquiries; working to deliver a professional high-quality service level to end users, stakeholders, and event organisers.

You will bring a strong experience in Windows Server and Virtualisation Technologies skills.

The ideal candidate will have a positive, proactive attitude with a creative flair to trouble shooting whilst working to changing timelines and priorities. You will work as part of a small team to provide 1st – 3rd line support for all network, server, application, desktop, and laptop users, with particular ownership of managing the helpdesk and dealing with, or escalating, tickets as necessary.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career in an operational event environment, with the opportunity to contribute to the operational and financial success of the stadium, through day to day operations, a variety of projects and exciting events such as football, Major League Baseball, athletics, rugby and community events.   No two days will be same so this role will be varied and give you the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities.  In return we offer development opportunities and many company benefits.

Events and filming take place all year round, and at different times and days, so you may be required to work early mornings, evenings and weekends to fulfil particular project needs.
