As we gear up to be the biggest live entertainment arena in the UK, we’re looking for Venue Level Managers to join us initially on a casual basis, so if you are an experienced stewarding or security manager with venue or arena experience this is a great opportunity for you!

As we prepare for opening you will support the venue management team with preparation of internal and agency event resources, getting ready for events with operational day to day requirements, car parking, accreditations and pre and post event check processes. This is a true operational role supporting the venue team so we stand out from the crowd and lead the way in creating the best events.

Just when you thought work has never sounded so good, we’re offering on a flexible casual basis up to 40 hours per week. What’s even better is the opportunity for you to move into a permanent role when we open!

Hourly Rate: £15.62 plus holiday pay

Our Role

  • On Arena event days you will be responsible for running and managing the Crowd Safety team for one level of the Arena
  • Be responsible for pre and post event checks
  • Manage a team of supervisors who are responsible for casual event teams on event days including but not limited to uniform distribution and briefings
  • Create event team briefings and documents for key event information to be shared with event staff
  • Manage agency resource and build strong working relationships to add additional resource to our teams as and when needed
  • Work with the people operations team & venue management teams to provide the best fan experience
  • Responsible for processing the venue’s accreditation, ensuring we have the passes deployed for each event
  • Support the recruitment of  casual stewarding and security teams to ensure we recruit great people into our roles
  • Support and get involved in casual event team training

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Stewarding and or security experience in a Stadium or Arena
  • Great customer service experience
  • A great leader who can make things happen
  • Dispute / conflict management experience
  • An infectious can-do approach
  • Management of casual teams on event days
  • Thrive when its buzzing and show resilience in getting things done
  • A strong team player and confident challenging the norm
  • Great at building relationships

Desirable:

  • SIA License
  • NVQ Level 3, Spectator Safety
  • ACT
  • CCTV license
  • Microsoft experience & administration skills
