We are recruiting multiple Maintenance Technicians who are skilled in either general, electrical or mechanical, that want to be part of something big.

Co-op Live is looking for awesome people to have a sound knowledge of our brand-new venue inside and out, keeping the facilities running smoothly and so on event days the music has never sounded so good.

Our Role

  • Carry out the Planned Preventative Maintenance program
  • Maintenance repairs on faulty fixtures, replacing equipment, parts and components
  • Maintaining equipment so it’s in good working order both now and for the future
  • Keeping a record of maintenance and repair work
  • Identifying faults or hazards and reporting of breakdowns and faults
  • General repairs to the fabric of the building
  • Decorating and painting projects
  • Minor Plumbing repairs
  • Carrying out carpentry repairs and small installations
  • Landscaping maintenance
  • Continuously look for ways to improve the fan experience

The role will require working flexible hours across days, evenings and weekends to deliver the ultimate fan experience behind the scenes.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

We are looking for awesome people across General, Electrical & Mechanical so if you have the knowledge and skills in one or more of these areas of expertise we would love to hear from you!

All of our Maintenance Technicians will require:

  • Knowledge of Facilities Management and building maintenance particularly within large and complex venues
  • Successfully managing planned and reactive maintenance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated with problem solving skills
  • Team player who enjoys positive energy, being resourceful, motivated to work in a high achieving environment
  • Thrive when its buzzing and show resilience, taking control, making decisions to meet tight deadlines
  • High standards are upheld when it comes to the completion of maintenance tasks and duties

With one or more areas of expertise in:

General Maintenance:

  • Working Knowledge of key compliance areas, including; Fire Safety, Legionella, Emergency lighting testing and the Health & Safety at Work act
  • Previous experience, ideally within an events based industry or similar environment
  • Forklift & IPAF license
  • Valid Full UK Driving License

Desirable

  • CSCS Card

Electrical Maintenance:

  • Hold a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or a recognised apprenticeship/trade equivalent
  • Hold City & Guilds 2382-22 (18th edition) BS7671
  • Familiarity of testing fire alarm/emergency lighting systems, weekly testing
  • Previous experience as a maintenance electrician, ideally within stadia / arena
  • Ability to fault find, read drawings, diagnose, and repair equipment using your technical knowledge
  • IPAF license and experience as working from height is necessary

Desirable

  • City & Guilds 2391-52 Test and inspection
  • City & Guilds 2377-77 EET/PAT

Mechanical Maintenance:

  • NVQ Level 2 or level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or an Apprenticeship/trade equivalent
  • Proven work experience as a mechanical maintenance within a similar field stadia / arena
  • Experience repairing plant and equipment, as well as the ability to fault find, read drawings, diagnose, and repair equipment using your technical knowledge
  • IPAF license and experience as working from height is necessary

HVAC

  • Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ in heating & ventilation or trade equivalent
  • Previous experience of HVAC maintenance and installations
