Job Description:

 

This role will play a pivotal part in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive Levy UK + I market presence – and the food & beverage ambitions of our venue partners.

Top line remit:

Campaign planning, execution & monitoring – digital first approach across:
– levy.co.uk (content management & creation)
– social media (LinkedIn, IG)
– email (drip & nurture campaigns)
– earned (blogs & forums)
– paid (sponsored content)
– multimedia (podcasts, video etc)

Content creation for brand expression and messaging to:
– create awareness
– shape perception
– drive interest
– influence

Brand asset creation:
– creds
– case studies
– toolkits & guides
– e-comms (internal newsletters etc)
– identity

Fan engagement:
– digital signage & tariff boards
– offer development
– photography / videography
– marcomms

In conjunction with the Marketing Director:

Strategy:

  • Drive the overarching brand strategy and marketing activity for Levy UK + I to ensure clear positioning in market through articulation of the brand and its core pillars: People, Technology, Sustainability, and Partnerships.
  • Work closely with wider Levy UK + I brands and venue partners to define and agree marketing activation and implementation plans that support venue/brands marketing strategies.

Marketing:

  • Translate the overarching Levy UK + I brand strategy into an annual marketing plan and develop brand re-defining campaigns that support core pillars.
  • Lead on the overarching Levy UK + I digital marketing strategy including social media, SEO, email marketing and website development and management of agencies.
  • Deploy content strategy for Levy UK + I, its brands and venues and recommend visual content, photography, and videography for campaigns – drive content excellence across the business.
  • Lead and develop brand guidelines / playbooks for Levy UK + I – provide brand guardianship to ensure creative consistency, excellence and brand standard.
  • Support wider Levy UK + I brands with marketing, brand and design needs, driving efficiency through communication of clear process.
  • Lead the creative development of venue retail marcomms, collateral and assets, drive creative excellence from design partners and internal teams, ensure on site implementation and execution.
  • Collaborate with agency partners and technical teams to manage the end-to-end content creation of in-venue retail digital signage, including digital POS and tariff boards. Strong ability to articulate requirement through creative briefs.
  • Deployment of customer satisfaction measures across venues, monitoring and interpreting results, delivering actionable insights for the marketing, culinary and operations team to act on and implement.
  • Work collaboratively with the Comms team to develop content. Look for storytelling opportunities along with strong ability to copywrite.
  • Drive creative innovation, collaboration and excellence from internal resource and 3rd party agencies, evaluate output against brief, sign-off campaigns.
  • Keep ahead of developments in the field of marketing, retail and technology/digital trends and incorporate into marketing plans where/when possible. Look for opportunities to attend industry events.
  • Manage and allocate marketing budget to maximise ROI and cost-effectiveness.

Competencies:

  • Excellent grasp and experience of marketing within the food & drink industry.
  • Ability to autonomously manage multiple projects at once.
  • Experienced in creating/coordinating content for websites, social media, POS.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles & digital technologies.
  • Basic design skills using templates such as Canva.

Professional persona:

  • Has a creative flair with an eye for detail and quality.
  • Ability to take ideation through to implementation.
  • Strong copy writing skills, can craft a narrative and tell a story.
  • Exceptional time-management, project management, communication skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and analytic tools.
  • The ability to work independently and flexibly – as well as part of a team.
  • Happy to travel across the UK frequently (2/3 times per month) and further afield when required.
  • Must be keen to contribute in team meetings and be comfortable client facing.
  • Used to working with several stakeholders all operating at a high-level.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing, currently in a managerial role.
