London Stadium are looking for a Safety Planning Manager to join the team to manage the Safety Planning team and assist the Safety Officer and Deputy Safety Officers in planning and delivering all London Stadium major events.

You will be working with the Safety Officer, Deputy Safety Officers, Safety Coordinator and wider safety team in ensuring that all events are staffed and planned adequately.  You will be responsible for managing the full time planning team and support teams, ensuring that appropriate staffing allocations for event days, for both in-house workers and agencies, are booked and communicated to relevant people and that all the necessary event day documentation and paperwork is produced and maintained

In this role, we are looking for a talented individual with relevant lived/work experience of working with diverse communities like those we serve in East London and looking to develop them further.  You should have experience or understanding of working with a diverse workforce and understand the challenges and opportunities that our work brings to our community. You should have strong planning, managerial and administration skills from a venue or similar organisation and bring with you an indepth understanding of electronic staffing systems and template creation. The successful candidate for this role will have a solid track record in event planning and management.

You should have enthusiasm, be highly organised and a self-motivated team player, who enjoys managing getting stuck-in to build strong working relationships quickly with a diverse group of staff and stakeholders.
