THE ROLE
The Senior Concessions Manager is responsible for ensuring high standards of the guest experience, safety, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will be an experienced food and beverage leader that drives operational performance and execution.
Essential Functions
- Understands all menus, product offerings, packaging and pricing.
- Ensure all concession areas have proper displays.
- Executes all safety and sanitation standards.
- Provides operational planning to ensure appropriate scheduling levels are met, as well as products ordered to service each concession event.
- Builds and maintains respectful relationships with clients and guests.
- Responds and assists in any departmental guest service issues.
- Executes all menus, promotions as outlined by the Director of Operations/Director of Concession.
- Follows and enforces responsible alcohol service policies.
- Effectively verifies all opening and closing inventories.
- Ensures required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month-end closing.
- Ensures assigned areas are fully stocked and are ready for operation.
- Ensures on-site training of the current POS system and concession equipment.
- Other responsibilities, as needed.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management is preferred
- High level of computer literacy
- Understanding of financial concepts
- Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Compensation
Competitive salary of $85,000 – $95,000 commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
