PTI are looking for an ambitious, innovative digital content marketeer to drive the centralised marketing, content and design function for the PTI global business. If you love sport, love live entertainment and love creating high-quality and engaging content and drive business success with it, we want you on our team!

Specialists in the sport and entertainment industry, the company’s head office is based in the UK whilst we are also expanding into Spain and Australia in 2020 and North America in 2021.

PTI work across a turnkey digital offering; consulting > technology selection > deployment > commercialisation and are strengthening our team to support our growing client base and global expansion plans across this offering.

We work with over 75 clubs and venues across the UK and Ireland, covering 40% of the Premier League, 70% of the EFL Championship and 49/92 professional football clubs in England. We also work with brands and agencies in connecting them to sport through advertising opportunities.

This role is designed to take the brand to the next level as we penetrate new markets. It will be fast-paced, requiring evening and weekend work given the nature of the business and the sports and entertainment specialisms.

·      A result-oriented marketer, conversant with data and statistical trends. Someone who can create sales leads through creating relevant content on all digital channels, that the company can convert into sales


Objectives of the Role

Content Marketing

·      Responsible for developing and implementing the overall content strategy across all channels based on our specific goals and objectives, alongside the Head of Digital Media

·      Run the day-to-day of the website, blog and social media channels

·      Take accountability for global company channel performance; driving the engagement rates and follow-ship through engaging content, relevance, and a speed of message to market. We want to break the news or be first to comment

·      Hands on content delivery to global company channels, including website and social media accounts

·      Orchestrating digital content strategies across all online platforms – driving traffic and engagement that translates to sales and brand promotion

·      Managing a content marketing budget to attract as much traffic to our site as possible (organic through SEO and through paid campaigns); the traffic must then be converted into sales leads by engaging the visitors to the site

·      Measuring the return and analysing the performance of marketing activity to inform future marketing campaigns

·      Ensuring email campaigns to customers, prospects and the industry at large are effectively executed to maximise traffic to the sites and conversions and that lists are managed correctly

·      Monitor and develop reports on competitor activity within social media and marketing spaces, keeping PTI at the forefront



·      Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company branding and websites against the set company brand guidelines

·      Prepare drafts of material based on an agreed brief

·      Create images and layouts using design software

·      Artworking assets for mobile, desktop, email, digital ads, social media, printed collateral, presentations, and any other assets across all channels

·      Test graphics across various media and understand the next step to design led engagement through reporting

·      Video concept creation, recording and editing for items such as podcasts, case studies etc

·      Manage our outsourced design resource for major project deliverables against budgets, targets and timelines


Skills and Competencies


·      Three – five years’ experience with online community building

·      An editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it

·      Data-driven and highly analytical

·      Proficiency with Google Analytics

·      Proficiency with social media analytics

·      Exposure to international channel management

·      Ability to communicate fresh ideas and visual concepts for a wide array of print and digital campaigns with passion and enthusiasm

·      Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)

·      Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

·      Ability to build strong relationships

·      Excellent planning and organisational skills

·      A keen eye for detail

·      The ability to work independently from home, or as part of a team


·      Experience in the sports and entertainment field; be that club, venue or brand side

·      Proven experience of developing a global content marketing plan and executing on this in multiple regions

·      Project management skills and an understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, global environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales

·      WordPress skills and management experience

·      Experience in recording, editing and publishing podcasts
