Senior Fundraising Officer – Southampton FC, UK
What is the role?
To coordinate and deliver fundraising activities for Saints Foundation to generate unrestricted income, with a specific accountability for individual and events fundraising. You will develop strong relationships with individuals and local organisations, coordinate the donor database to ensure that all supporters are effectively managed and create a range of innovative and engaging events and activities which will be the focal point to engage and activate our donors.

The competencies which are required include:
Essential Experience:
- Experience of working in the charity and/or fundraising sector.
- Experience of working effectively in a multi-faceted fundraising department with exposure to and awareness of fundraising processes.
- A track record in generating significant income through events and activities.
- Experience in creating and maintaining internal and external relationships with key stakeholders for positive outcomes.
- Experience of managing donations and gift, and stewardship processes.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience and understanding of fundraising regulations, including the Code of Fundraising Practice, licensing, Gift Aid, etc.
- Experience of creating and coordinating online fundraising activities.
