Are you a confident, flexible and convincing person that is able to negotiate on all levels? Do you have experience in business planning, developing of insourcing/outsourcing strategies and understanding requirements within business plans, ideally in a mega- (sporting) event environment? With FIFA 2.0, our new operating model, we are looking for a communicative, innovative and excellent team player to support our Tournaments & Events Division as a Senior Stadium Manager.
Your duties
•    Refining, consolidating and integrating of any cross-functional requirements with the focus on stadiums
•    Developing, planning and delivery of Stadium Operator workshops, guides and best practises
•    Ensuring that any specifications, space and area allocations as well as construction plans are developed in compliance with applicable codes, bylaws and the FIFA requirement catalogues in particular
•    Developing an own strategy to connect Stadium Operators experiences and Stadium construction industry
•    Managing Working Site Visits to Stadiums and Event locations
•    Developing Service Levels
•    Being the focal point for industry and serving Member Associations in regards to Stadium Infrastructure
•    Supporting the department Head in consolidating the financial forecast exercises

 

Our requirements
•    Bachelor/Master degree in economics, or electrical engineering or civil engineering
•    Experience with online collaboration tools is an asset
•    Experience in providing training or educational seminars
•    8 – 10 years of proven experience in stadium operations or in a client/customer role within a stadium environment
•    Proven skills in stadium relevant services such as electrical, mechanical, audio & video, HVAC, water engineering systems as well as pitch management
•    Experienced in managing and organising football matches and other events in a stadium environment
•    Proven project and construction management skills
•    Good sense for service quality and budget commitment
•    Project Management Certificate
•    Fluent in English, any other or one of the FIFA languages is an advantage (German, French or Spanish)
•    Ability to work across all functions and at all levels of the organisation, including FIFA’s external partners, service providers and Stadium owners/representatives
•    Ability to quickly integrate into a fast paced, challenging and exciting environment
•    Adaptability to multi-cultural environment
