Co-op Live will offer a food and beverage hospitality service that will put us head and shoulders above the crowd, as we welcome over 23,500 fans and amazing artists to taste the delicious food and drinks unique to the space in Manchester.

Role Purpose

As we gear up to opening our doors, we’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager. To lead and develop the exciting recruitment strategy at Co-op Live, attracting the very best food and beverage talent through various recruitment platforms and community partnerships, supporting us in creating the best live music experience in the UK. Accountable for organising and managing the recruitment process ensuring the highest calibre people are recruited and placed into the correct positions, meeting all the necessary legal requirements that allow them to work at Co-op Live. To also focus on recruiting entry level candidates who have a natural flair for our incredible hospitality industry and enjoying watching them grow in our arena.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, deliver, and lead on the recruitment strategy to onboard the very best candidates for our exciting and varied roles.
  • Use our market-leading applicant tracking system that provides full automation and a first-class onboarding experience for candidates.
  • To lead on and deliver increased attraction of diverse and underrepresented candidate groups.
  • To develop and execute bespoke recruitment campaigns using the full range of recruitment platforms as necessary to attract the best talent.
  • To attract, design and deliver careers fayres and recruitment assessment centres for large volume candidate pools across varied roles.
  • To build relationships with community stakeholders to identify opportunities for upskilling, attracting candidates from underrepresented groups, improving social mobility.
  • To develop data intelligence to identify trends that supports successful attraction strategies.
  • To manage the use of external agencies, creating preferred supplier contracts and managing agency spend.
  • To manage the recruitment team on individual and volume recruitment targets, liaising with contract partners for resource and training requirements.
  • Accountable for ensuring all workers have the required legal documentation prior to commencing work – right to work documentation all to be correct and stored appropriately for audit purposes.
  • Reduce staff turnover and recruitment costs by developing and delivering retention techniques.
  • Liaise with Heads of department to assess recruitment needs for any current or upcoming developments.
  • Accountable for working with relevant marketing colleagues to produce a recruitment marketing strategy, ahead of large campaigns, that is used as a live working document both pre and during the financial year.

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:
  • Experience of managing successful end-to-end volume recruitment campaign.
  • Experience working with community partnership groups and demonstrate positive impacts.
  • Experience of recruiting for Food & Beverage positions.
  • Experience driving diversity & inclusion in the recruitment process.
  • Management of data, identifying trends to drive improved recruitment processes.
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills.
  • Strong tenacity, results focused competence.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office packages.
  • Good understanding of employment law and right to work document checks.
  • Ability to source the right candidates for the job.
Desirable:
  • Recruitment qualification is an advantage.
  • Proven experience presenting to large groups.
  • Experience of music & entertainment industry and/or large arena recruitment.
