We’re on a mission to create the best live music experience in the UK.

As we gear up to open the biggest live music arena in the UK, we’re looking for a dynamic ticketing professional to join us as a Ticketing Manager. We will have over 120 shows per year at the venue, and you will play an integral part in the ticketing set up and resolution at every event. The role has a focus on our software and digital solutions in readiness for ticket onsales include building and maintaining long lasting relationships with 3rd party ticketing service provider, promoters and organisers, and effectively managing seating arrangements on Ticketmaster’s system.

We are looking for someone who has experience in the ticketing world and is super passionate about creating the most unforgettable music and entertainment experience for fans and artists coming to Manchester!

Our Role

  • Coordinate event builds and sale schedules
  • Produce pricing manifests and scaling maps based on production plans and event organiser/promoter information
  • Know our ticket sales, provide sales reports and breakdowns prior to and on event days to Head of Ticketing
  • Support the team in managing high volume telephone calls and emails
  • On event days, work collaboratively with internal teams – finance team, venue management team as well as event organiser/promoters final event statement for ticket sales
  • Build strong, positive communication with ticket agents, and event organisers/promoters, which puts our fans, artists and community first
  • Work in collaboration with technology teams and third-party ticketing service provider Ticketmaster to continually integrate the services, methods and processes to support the growth of the ticketing function
  • Always look at how we can streamline an exceptional fan journey, harnessing a digital mindset
  • Manage the workload and schedule rota for part time casual staff, ensuring key objectives for events are achieved
  • Be one team, exceeding the ultimate customer experience for every fan on the lead up to and on event days

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Essential:

  • Understand ticketing software, systems and price scaling models
  • Proficient in the use of excel (or similar products)
  • Passion for detail
  • Thrive when its buzzing and show resilience to make decisions under extremely tight deadlines
  • Able to multitask and prioritise work effectively
  • A team player who enjoys working in a high achieving environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, creating and fostering relationships
  • Promote the Co-op Live brand and values in a positive and professional manner
  • Comfortable handling own operational workload as well as supporting others
  • Experience of providing excellent customer service

Salary: £34,000 – £40,000
