Eventbrite, the live experience and ticketing platform, has announced a partnership with the European Tour, the body that operates the continent’s major golf events.

Under the terms of the agreement, Eventbrite will offer a range of tickets, from spectator passes through to corporate hospitality, and will provide the European Tour with entry management technology to support the different tour events. The European Tour hosts 47 professional golf tournaments in 26 countries every year.

Tim Hunt, marketing communications director for the European Tour, said: “We wanted a digital solution that would make it easy to buy tickets and gain access to all the European tour events. Being able to use Eventbrite’s technology to understand the different data generated by events on this scale, including a bird’s eye view of where, when and how our tickets have been purchased across the world, is important to us in order to continually improve the experience fans have when they attend our different events.”

Joel Crouch, Eventbrite’s general manager for the UK and Ireland, said: “We’re looking forward to helping the team make the most of their rich data set, and delivering a better ticketing experience for golf fans across all the European Tour.”
