Online furniture and home goods retailer Wayfair has acquired naming rights to the Miami home of Unrivaled, a new three-on-three women’s basketball league that launched over the weekend.
The 850-seat Wayfair Arena is located in a Miami production studio and Wayfair has acquired naming rights to the venue as part of a multi-year deal that also designates the company as Unrivaled’s official home furnishing partner.
Wayfair has provided furnishing throughout the arena’s facilities, including Unrivaled’s content studio, the courtside club and the players’ lounge.
Unrivaled commenced on Friday night as an off-season competition for Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) players. Its inaugural season will run until March 17.
Unrivaled features six teams: Laces, Lunar Owls, Mist, Phantom, Rose and Vinyl. The league was co-founded by WNBA players Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier.

On Friday, the Lunar Owls defeated the Mist 84-80 and the Vinyl defeated the Rose 79-73. The games continued on Saturday as the Laces defeated the Phantom 86-48 and the Lunar Owls defeated the Rose 79-70.
