Leicester announce stadium-wide upgrades for disabled fans

English Premier League football club Leicester City has announced a series of upgrades to facilities for disabled supporters at its King Power Stadium home ground.

The defending Premier League champion has installed a Changing Places toilet in the South Stand of the King Power, which offers a height-adjustable, adult-sized changing bench, tracking hoist and adequate space for disabled supporters and their carers.

The toilet will complement existing facilities at the stadium, including accessibility toilets on every concourse and recently refurbished lavatories in hospitality areas.

Leicester has also introduced hearing loops throughout all concourses and hospitality areas, with portable hearing loops available upon request at the main reception.

Leicester offers pitch-level seating in the East and West stands for wheelchair users with spaces for carers. Upper- and lower-platform seating for wheelchair users is also available throughout the ground, while there is designated seating around the stadium for ambulant supporters with disabilities.

In addition, the club offers an audio descriptive service, which provides visually-impaired supporters with a real-time account of the match action.
