English second-tier Championship football club Fulham has opened a new gin bar at its Craven Cottage stadium in London.
The venue, called The Clubhouse, is reportedly the first dedicated gin bar to be opened at a professional football club in England.
Following a launch event, The Clubhouse will open to the public for the first time this Saturday when Fulham hosts Derby County.
The Clubhouse overlooks the River Thames and is a sleek, contemporary venue that has been created with the support of the Gin Foundry, an organisation and website that celebrates the drink. Fully-trained bar staff will offer news and insight about gin whilst offering a unique range of cocktails.
Formed in 1879, Fulham is London’s oldest professional football club and has spent the bulk of the 21st century in the top-tier Premier League.
