NFL American football franchise the Atlanta Falcons has launched a new mobile app to coincide with its move to Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The 71,000-capacity stadium, which will also serve as the home of Major League Soccer team Atlanta United, finally opened on Saturday when the Falcons fell to a 24-14 defeat to the Arizona Cardinals.
The team hopes the new app will act as a second-screen experience during Falcons games, with new in-venue features set to enhance the fan experience.
The app will provide supporters with play-by-play updates, stats and scores, which will be featured in the renovated Gamecenter.
The app will also include parking and ticketing solutions, as well as beverages and game-day entertainment information.
In addition, the Falcons concierge feature will allow fans to ask any other questions they may have on game days, while the social tailgate tab will allow supporters to connect with each other.
