Caesars to open premium space at Prudential Center

Caesars Entertainment has today (Tuesday) entered into a multi-year partnership with Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE), which operates NBA basketball team the Philadelphia 76ers, NHL ice hockey franchise the New Jersey Devils and the Prudential Center arena.

As part of the agreement, New Jersey sports fans will be introduced to Caesars Entertainment’s new sports book experience inside the exclusive Caesars Club at Prudential Center, which serves as the home of the Devils.

The Caesars Club at Prudential Center will be a 5,000-square-foot premium bar and restaurant space and will be located on the arena’s main concourse. It will provide VIP hospitality to Premium Seat members at Devils home games and will be open during more than 175 live events over the course of the year.

The deal comes after HBSE last week entered into a multi-year partnership with sports book operator William Hill, through which a ‘William Hill Sports Lounge’ space will be created at Prudential Center.

HBSE’s deals with William Hill and Caesars Entertainment, one of the world’s largest casino entertainment operators, come in the wake of New Jersey’s legalisation of sports betting in June.

Adam Davis, HBSE’s chief revenue officer, said: “Prudential Center and Caesars Entertainment are industry leaders in sports and entertainment. Caesars Club is a natural way to recreate the world-class Caesars experience for New Jersey Devils Premium Seat members and one million event-goers that attend concerts and live events at Prudential Center annually.

“With a partnership that synergistically bookends the state of New Jersey, Caesars Entertainment can connect with engaged sports and live event fans to promote its new sportsbook and mobile sports betting app throughout the Garden State.”

Chris Holdren, chief marketing officer for Caesars Entertainment, added: “Caesars Entertainment has enjoyed a long relationship with the New Jersey community. With the introduction of the Caesars Club Sports Lounge, we’re excited to expand our relationship and deliver our world-class hospitality and entertainment in a new part of the Garden State.”

Caesars will benefit from extensive brand exposure across Prudential Center, with its logo to appear on Club Level tickets, premium wristbands, concourse pillars and more. Through its tie-up with the 76ers, the company will have a presence at games through advertising placements.

Other in-game and online contests will be launched as part of the wide-ranging agreement.
