Hollywood Park has partnered with Golden Boy Promotions in a collaboration that will see major boxing bouts staged at the Los Angeles campus.

The multi-year, multi-event agreement is said to solidify the promoter’s commitment to bringing local and international level boxers and events to Los Angeles. The Hollywood Park site includes both SoFi Stadium and YouTube Theater.

The partnership commenced with the World Boxing Association Championship cruiserweight title fight between Armenian Arsen Goulamirian and Mexico’s Gilberto Ramírez at YouTube Theater.

“Golden Boy and Hollywood Park share a vision of bringing the highest quality of events to the Los Angeles region,” said chairman and chief executive of Golden Boy, Oscar De La Hoya.

“We were the first to host an inaugural combat sports event at YouTube Theater in January 2023, and we couldn’t be more pleased to make history again by being the first to solidify a partnership deal of this magnitude with Hollywood Park.”

Golden Boy said it is aiming for the deal to “leverage the diverse programming” at the venues.

“We are proud to have a championship partner in our corner with Golden Boy Promotions,” said Adolfo Romero, vice-president of programming and booking for YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park.

“YouTube Theater is the first Los Angeles venue to ink a multi-year agreement with a boxing promoter showcasing our commitment to this sport, and leveraging our year-round events at SoFi Stadium and across Hollywood Park to continue our diverse programming strategy.”

YouTube Theater is a 6,000-seat venue located at Hollywood Park which is a near 300-acre sports and entertainment site in Inglewood, California. It is being developed by Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroenke.
