IMG signs exclusive Euro 2020 hospitality deal

The IMG agency has been appointed as the exclusive sales agent for UEFA Euro 2020 official hospitality in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Under the agreement, official hospitality packages for next year’s national team football tournament will be marketed to fans in these countries uniquely through IMG.

IMG has previously worked as a sales agent for UEFA during Euro 2008 in Austria and Switzerland, the 2011 and 2013 Champions League finals at London’s Wembley Stadium, and Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine.

Euro 2020 will be staged in 12 stadia across Europe, with three facilities in the UK and Ireland – Wembley, Glasgow’s Hampden Park and Dublin’s Aviva Stadium – among the host venues.

Jonathan Cocke, senior vice-president and managing director of stadia and hospitality at IMG, said: “IMG is the only source of official hospitality packages for customers based in these markets, with exclusive allocations for matches at Wembley Stadium in London, Hampden Park in Glasgow, Dublin Arena and other tournament venues, including the final, both semi-finals and the other matches to be played at Wembley.”

The UEFA Euro 2020 official hospitality programme will guarantee premium tickets, gourmet catering and elite viewing positions at stadia from a range of exclusive packages. Official hospitality options will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from June this year, with a pre-sale for existing box holders at the venues to begin in May.

Euro 2020 gets underway at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico on Friday, June 12.
