Arena Birmingham debuts premium hospitality suite

The 15,000-seat, multi-purpose Arena Birmingham has launched a new hospitality lounge offering panoramic views across the facility.

The Premier Lounge will feature luxury chair-style balcony seating to watch events, with a membership granting guests access to one seat at 20 performances of their choice.

Other benefits will include a complimentary welcome drink at every performance, access to Amplify member events, the first option to purchase additional tickets in the Premier Lounge at discounted rates, your name or company name on your seats, invitations to two exclusive Amplify members events per year, and use of the members online portal to purchase tickets.

Amplify is the hospitality arm of the arena, which is owned by the NEC Group. Arena caterers Amadeus will also serve food and drinks inside the new lounge, which has been devised by students on NEC Group’s Talent Programme.

Sally Walder, general manager of Amplify, said, according to the Express and Star newspaper: “We are thrilled to be able to extend our hospitality offering at Arena Birmingham with the new Premier Lounge.

“Over the past year Amplify has been in incredibly high demand, particularly with members who are looking for an exciting alternative to traditional corporate hospitality, and we hope the Premier Lounge will appeal to those looking for a more relaxed experience but in a premium setting.”

An annual membership in the Premier Lounge is priced at £2,500 (€2,900/$3,200) plus VAT.
