Ascot Racecourse has named Bose Professional as its new official technology supplier in the sound category as part of plans to improve its customer experience.
Bose Professional becomes the first manufacturer to be appointed under Ascot’s new official technology supplier category, which has been created for brands who are able to supply relevant tech services at the racecourse.
Ascot and Bose Professional plan on designing and installing a state-of-the-art audio solution at the racecourse that will enhance the race-day experience.
SSE Audio Group has been appointed to integrate the project and has led the process to design and specify an audio system that utilises the latest loudspeaker and amplifier technology, developed by Bose. Products have been selected based on their ability to form a “robust” system that delivers best-in-class vocal clarity and consistent sound across the racecourse.
George Vaughan, head of technology at Ascot Racecourse, said: “Sound is an important facet of the event-day experience and having Bose join us as our official technology supplier in this department will introduce a new level of audio excellence to our venue.

“Over the course of 2019, the installation will be completed in carefully planned phases around race days, ensuring no disruption for guests. The first installation phase is currently underway within the Royal Enclosure, and we’re delighted to announce that the first preview of Bose Professional loudspeakers will debut to guests within this area at Royal Ascot.”
Bose Professional is the pro audio division within Bose Corporation and serves various sports stadiums and arenas, as well as other venues, around the world.
