Ticketmaster has teamed up with Montreal-based Groupe CH to provide ticketing for 20 venues and festivals, as well as NHL ice hockey’s Montreal Canadiens.
The Canadian sports and entertainment company, which manages more than 1,500 events a year, will employ the Live Nation-owned ticketing giant to serve as the official primary and resale ticketing partner for the Canadiens, Bell Centre, Place Bell, MTelus, and the Corona Theatre, among others.
The deal also includes numerous festivals including Osheaga, Heavy Montreal, and Ile Soniq.
The NHL outfit will integrate Ticketmaster’s technology into its official mobile app to provide a more streamlined ticket purchase and entry experience at its 21,273-capacity Bell Centre home.
