Stadium branding deal struck for Qatar Club World Cup

The Look Company (TLC) will provide stadium signage and branding in and around host venues at the upcoming Fifa 2019 Club World Cup in Qatar, the local organising committee has confirmed.

The company, which has a 3,000m2 large‑format print production facility in Doha, will also provide wayfinding signage at the competition’s three host venues, Education City Stadium, Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium and Khalifa International Stadium.

TLC will serve as a national supporter of the tournament, which will take place from December 11-21, as part of the agreement.

Continental club champions Liverpool and Flamengo will enter the tournament at the semi-final stage on December 17, with other participants being Al Hilal, Espérance Sportive de Tunis, Monterrey, Hienghène Sport and Al-Sadd SC.

“The Fifa Club World Cup 2019 is an amazing opportunity to showcase our ability to deliver high-impact branding for global events and also marks the increasing importance of sport for the country,” TLC’s president, Jacob Burke, said.

“We are very proud of being able to show our support for the sports industry in Qatar and to leave behind a memorable experience for spectators from all around the world.”

Jean-François Pathy, Fifa’s director of marketing services, added: “The Look is an expert at producing innovative branding solutions that enrich the overall appearance of stadium environments. The visual identity of our events is an important part of our marketing strategy.”

Fifa launched its ticketing resale platform for the tournament last week.
