Caesars unveils Chase Field sports bar plans

North American gaming group Caesars Entertainment has released renderings of the new sports bar that will open at Arizona Diamondbacks’ Chase Field early next year.

The approximately 20,000 square foot, two-story venue will feature both indoor and outdoor seating options including two floors of sports betting space, a full-service bar and VIP lounge and an extensive menu. It will also feature 1,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor LED screens.

The sports bar will be located at the former Game 7 Grill space outside of the Major League Baseball team’s Chase Field. While it will not be accessible to fans while they attend a D-backs game, they can still place bets via the Caesars Sportsbook mobile app.

Caesars said the space will be open year-round, not just on gamedays, and will have flexible hours of operation to cater to specific sporting events.

While the Caesars sports bar will not open until next year, fans will be able to place wagers at Chase Field from when sports betting becomes available in Arizona on September 9. Five ticket windows have been allocated for betting, marking the first MLB stadium where sports fans can place an in-person wager. Bets can also be placed at five betting kiosks on the north side of the plaza being installed in the interim.

“Caesars Sportsbook at Chase Field will bring to life the vision of our brand by celebrating the Caesars promise of treating everyone like royalty,” said Eric Hession, co-president of Caesars Digital. “These renderings provide a taste of what this incredible new venue will offer, but there’s so much more we can’t wait to show Arizona customers when the space officially opens. Sports bettor or not, we’re hoping fans will visit to enjoy an unbeatable experience.”

Caesars Entertainment is an official corporate partner of The Arizona Diamondback and has a multi-year agreement with Major League Baseball as an Authorized Gaming Operator of the league.

“The Caesars Sportsbook at Chase Field will be the premier sports betting and entertainment destination in downtown Phoenix,” said Derrick Hall, the Diamondbacks’ president and chief executive.

“D-backs fans, Arizona residents, and out-of-state visitors, whether they are sports bettors or not, should look forward to this state-of-the-art, year-round location that will feature a first-class dining, betting and hospitality experience – all while taking in their favourite sporting event or watching their favourite team. This sportsbook will transform the sports viewing experience in Arizona.”

Caesars recently signed a 20-year deal for naming rights to the New Orleans Saints NFL team’s Superdome stadium.
