Stadium industry to gather at Emirates Old Trafford for #SBS22

This evening our 13th annual TheStadiumBusiness Summit kicks off at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester.

Some of the highlights this week will include discussions on COVID-19 recovery, evolving the fan experience, and data management at venues.

Executives from the likes of ASM Global, Amazon and EngageRM will be among the speakers, while representatives from some of the world’s biggest stadiums and clubs – including the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Manchester United and Eden Park – will also be in attendance.

Other discussions will focus on venue naming rights, content creation, food and beverages, and immersive technology. Guests will also be given an update on Manchester’s Co-op Live, the under-construction facility which is set to be the biggest arena in the UK when it opens next year.

On Tuesday evening, attention will turn to TheStadiumBusiness Awards, which recognise leadership, innovation and achievement in the delivery, operation and management of sports facilities globally.

Categories include Sustainability & Community, Fan Experience, Product Innovation, Venue Technology, Event of the Year, Sponsorship Sales & Marketing, Executive of the Year, Venue of the Year, and Outstanding Achievement.
