Blue Jackets to launch new premium space at Nationwide Arena

The Columbus Blue Jackets NHL ice hockey team has announced that a new premium space entitled the Center Ice Club will open at Nationwide Arena in time for the 2024-25 season.

The exclusive area will be located between C1 and C6 on the Club Level of Nationwide Arena. The space will span across most of the north side of the arena and offer a unique vantage point for fans to enjoy the game.

The Blue Jackets said the space will offer “exceptional” sightlines and luxurious amenities. Members of the Center Ice Club will receive dedicated parking in the arena garage, all-inclusive food and beverages, dedicated restrooms, a private entrance and priority access to other special events.

Season tickets in the Center Ice Club are available now for the 2024-25 campaign.

Marty Mulford, vice-president of ticket sales and service for the Blue Jackets, said: “For over two decades, Nationwide Arena has been considered one of the very best arenas in the country, but guests have come to expect premium, all-inclusive experiences and the new Center Ice Club will provide that to our fans.

“This new space will elevate the game-day experience and provide a truly unforgettable atmosphere.”

In July, Fanatics Betting and Gaming, the online and retail sports betting division of digital sports platform Fanatics, teamed up with the Blue Jackets to launch a new retail sportsbook location adjacent to Nationwide Arena.

The sportsbook spans more than 5,000 square feet and features four betting windows, 14 self-service betting kiosks, one giant LED video wall, 16 TV monitors and a full-service restaurant.

In January last year, Nationwide Arena became the latest major US venue to introduce checkout-free shopping for fans. The Blue Jackets teamed up with checkout-free technology platform Zippin for the venture.

Nationwide Arena opened in 2000 and has a capacity of 20,000.
