Atlanta Braves’ new ballpark complex to feature Punch Bowl Social space

Punch Bowl Social, a leader in the ‘eatertainment’ movement, is to open a new 27,000-square-foot space at the Battery Atlanta complex, which will surround SunTrust Park, the future home stadium of the Atlanta Braves Major League Baseball team.

The restaurant, bar and entertainment concept will be located at the heart of the Battery Atlanta and adjacent to the 41,500-capacity SunTrust Park, which is scheduled to open next month.

The Punch Bowl Social property is due to open in September 2017 and will include eight bowling lanes, one bocce court, three private karaoke rooms, a custom-built 360-degree bar, and various lounging and gathering spots. A 2,200-square-foot rooftop patio will also be included.

“The Atlanta Braves have one of the most impressive histories in Major League Baseball,” Punch Bowl Social founder and chief executive Robert Thompson said. “We’re obviously thrilled to count them among our new neighbours and have no doubt that the Battery Atlanta, with its promise of an elevated live, work, play environment and game-day excitement, will quickly become one of the most popular destinations.”

Punch Bowl Social boasts properties in eight other cities, with more scheduled to open over the next two years.
