Aberdeen extends with catering partner

Scottish Premiership football club Aberdeen has extended its partnership with catering services company Sodexo.

The new three-year deal will be worth £5.7m (€6.5m/$7.4m). The fresh agreement extends upon a 23-year association between the two parties.

Sodexo will continue to provide match-day catering services at Aberdeen’s Pittodrie stadium and will also oversee the club’s café and public retail offerings.

The deal also extends to conference and banqueting events at Pittodrie.

“Our partnership with Aberdeen Football Club has spanned more than two decades and is an excellent example of how our team works alongside a venue to source and serve quality, locally-sourced produce to thousands of football fans, while also using our events and conferencing expertise to drive non-match day business,” David Trotter, account director for Sodexo Sports and Leisure, said.
