Built.io, BeyondCurious launch tech-focused fan engagement program

Digital fan experience platform Built.io, in partnership with digital consultancy agency BeyondCurious, has launched an industry-first program called the Sports & Entertainment Digital Accelerator.

The six-week program provides sports teams with the support required to transform its venue, team and fan experience through the use of new digital technology.

By combining Built.io’s digital fan experience platform and BeyondCurious’ CatalystGo methodology, the accelerator program is designed to immediately impact participating stadiums through actionable insights, design concepts, prototypes and demos.

Built.io’s platform offers professional sports teams more engaging fan experiences through connected spaces, customised applications and content delivery to any channel.

“Sports franchises that participate in the sports and entertainment digital accelerator will benefit from BeyondCurious’ expertise in how to properly embrace technology and Built.io’s platform that enables any organisation to adapt to the digital world of APIs, microservices, IoT and connectedness quickly and easily,” said Neha Sampat, chief executive and co-founder of Built.io.

“BeyondCurious is the services partner and Built.io is the platform partner. Both companies bring a strategic, agile and innovative approach to digital transformation. This is an exciting collaboration that equips forward-thinking sports teams with a digital edge.”

To begin with, the program is accepting a limited number of sports teams that can apply to join the program online or sign up in person at the Sports and Entertainment Alliance in Technology conference in Atlanta, which started yesterday (Sunday) and ends tomorrow.
