Mobile services company Venuetize has partnered with the New York Red Bulls to develop the Major League Soccer club’s first mobile app.
The app is available for download on iPhone and Android devices and will give fans access to in-depth content on the team, along with information on Red Bull Arena. This is the first official Red Bulls mobile app.
The app will allow fans to scan, buy and share tickets, and access club news, photos and videos including the club’s ‘All Access’ video series. Additionally, a contextual feature will be incorporated into the app, which will appear when fans are at Red Bull Arena.
Other features of the app will include access to New York Red Bulls Radio, a Visit St. Pete weather widget, and the ability to order concessions via Appetize.
“We are proud to provide our fans with the first-ever New York Red Bulls mobile app,” Jayne Bussman-Wise, senior director of content and communications for the Red Bulls, said. “We have developed the app to provide fans with real-time updates, content and information for match days. Working together with Venuetize, we look forward to continuing to evolve the app to meet the needs of our fans at Red Bull Arena or wherever they engage with us.”
Karri Zaremba, co-founder and chief operating officer of Venuetize, added: “Through their new mobile app, powered by the Venuetize platform, the Red Bulls are delivering compelling content and a contextually relevant experience to fans – whether they are at Red Bull Arena, or on the other side of the world. We are proud to be a key part of the team’s fan engagement strategy.”
The Red Bulls become the second MLS team to launch an app in partnership with Venuetize, joining Los Angeles FC, a recently-launched franchise that entered the league for the 2018 season.
