ASM Global signs booking deal for Texas A&M’s Kyle Field

ASM Global has agreed a deal to oversee bookings for Kyle Field, home of Texas A&M University’s American football team and one of the largest stadiums in the US.

ASM Global’s deal with Texas A&M’s athletics department will also include the 13,000-seat Reed Arena, home of the college’s basketball and volleyball teams.

The agreement will seek to expand existing entertainment offerings at Reed Arena. ASM Global will also develop a focused Texas A&M ‘event experience team’ to support all aspects of live entertainment at the university’s facilities.

With a capacity of 103,000, Kyle Field is the fourth largest stadium in the US. The stadium opened in 1927 and most recently underwent expansion in 2015.

ASM Global said it has been selected to provide entertainment bookings for Texas A&M’s athletics department following a competitive bid process. ASM Global will help deliver live music, family entertainment, esports tournaments and other programming to Kyle Field and Reed Arena.

ASM Global president and chief executive Ron Bension said: “As a leading provider of entertainment experiences for colleges and universities across America, we know the power of live events to bring communities together.

“Kyle Field and Reed Arena are both amazing venues, and our partnership with Texas A&M will allow us to showcase them as premier destinations for live music fans across Central Texas.”

Darren Davis, general manager of Reed Arena, added: “To have a partner like ASM Global assisting us in bringing content to our venues will elevate the entertainment offering to a whole new level.

“Their expertise and experience in working with large-scale touring shows is invaluable. In conjunction with ASM Global, we look forward to bringing exciting and unique events to the local community.”
