Ticketmaster signs digital ticketing deal with six OVG venues

Ticketmaster has entered into a partnership with Oak View Group (OVG) to provide digital ticketing services for events at a range of the latter’s arenas, including Manchester’s Co-op Live, New York’s UBS Arena and Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena.

The ticketing giant will also lead services at Austin’s Moody Center, Coachella Valley Arena in California and Savannah Arena in Georgia. All six venues will be equipped with Ticketing Concierge, a contactless box office powered by Ticketmaster’s TM1 product suite, and utilise features like instant ticket delivery and transfer direct from mobile devices.

OVG and Live Nation have developed a strong relationship in recent years, most notably through their partnership with sports consultancy firm Elevate Sports Ventures.

“OVG is setting a new standard for arenas with world-class hospitality and state-of-the-art technology,” said Mark Yovich, president of Ticketmaster. “Their portfolio boasts some of the most modern and progressive new venues in the world.

“Through our leading-edge ticketing technology, Ticketmaster will help OVG deliver premium fan experiences for sports fanatics and music lovers.”

Ticketmaster will expand its relationship with the New York Islanders as they make the move to UBS Arena (pictured), and further extend its NHL support by partnering with the league’s newest expansion team the Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena, which is to open in October 2021.
