New York Jets add WynnBET as latest partner

The New York Jets NFL American football team has entered into a partnership with mobile sports betting app WynnBET, which will open an all-inclusive food and beverage hospitality space at MetLife Stadium.

WynnBET, a division of hospitality company Wynn Resorts, becomes an official sports betting partner of the team as part of a multi-year deal. The agreement includes title sponsorship of the WynnBET Green Room at MetLife Stadium on Jets game days, as well as presenting partnership of the Jets Podcast Network and the Jets SportsNet NY Pre and Post Game Live shows.

The WynnBET Green Room will be a ticketed space for fans aged 21 and over. The luxury club space will span around 4,800 square feet and will provide an immersive sportsbook experience, providing fans with access to live WynnBET content such as point spreads, game totals, in-play wagering and more.

Jeff Fernandez, the Jets’ vice-president of business development and ventures, said: “WynnBET is one of the most innovative and forward-thinking operators in the LSB (legalised sports betting) marketplace.

“The Wynn name represents a premium brand and overall high touch experience that fits perfectly into the aura of the Green Room. We also expect Jets fans to enjoy the compelling new content on the Jets Podcast Network and benefit from the WynnBET relationship on game day and throughout the entire football season.”

In July, WynnBET signed a multi-year deal with fellow NFL team the Detroit Lions. The Lions designated WynnBET as an official sportsbook and gaming partner of the team and house the WynnBET Sports Bar at its Ford Field stadium.

The WynnBET Sports Bar is located near section 222 of Ford Field. Lions fans visiting the space will have access to brand ambassadors, live betting lines, and food and drinks as part of the overall WynnBET on-site experience.

The Jets’ deal with WynnBET has been signed after the team last week partnered with Fubo Sportsbook to create a new sports betting lounge at MetLife Stadium.

The Fubo Sportsbook Lounge will be approximately 7,000 square feet and offer visitors to the New Jersey-based stadium the chance to bet on sports fixtures in kiosks or via the operator’s app. Fans can enjoy the game while wagering as the lounge’s outdoor patio offers views of the field of play.

Fubo Sportsbook is expected to launch in New Jersey – where the operator has market access via Caesars Entertainment – in the fourth quarter of 2021, with the lounge to open during the 2021 NFL season.

The agreement marked Fubo Sportsbook’s first sponsorship of a professional sports team, with the lounge to be the first designated betting facility at MetLife Stadium. The Jets share MetLife Stadium with the New York Giants.
