People on the move: AMB Sports & Entertainment, OVG and more

AMB Sports & Entertainment, parent company of Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and Major League Soccer team Atlanta United has announced the promotion of four senior officers, with Nick Brown, Demetrious Efstathiou, Chris Millman and Ryan Mucatel all elevated to new roles.

Brown (pictured second from left) has been promoted to vice-president and deputy general counsel of AMBSE and will report to senior vice-president and general counsel Joe Pierce. Efstathiou (pictured far right) has been promoted to senior vice-president of strategy at Atlanta United and will report to club chief executive Garth Lagerwey.

Millman (pictured second from right) will now serve as senior vice-president of community engagement and sports philanthropy at AMBSE, reporting to AMBSE chief executive Rich McKay. Mucatel (pictured far left) has been promoted to senior vice-president and chief marketing officer of AMBSE and will report to AMBSE president Tim Zulawski.

AMBSE has also announced that Karl Pierburg, who serves as a senior vice-president and chief technology officer, will take on a greater role with the Falcons, adding football strategy and innovation to his current title while maintaining oversight of AMBSE’s enterprise data team.

Iain Campbell has started a new role as executive vice-president in the Middle East and North Africa at Oak View Group.

Campbell joins OVG from ASM Global, where he served as a group director of venue operation services and an executive vice-president in the Middle East. Prior to joining ASM Global, Campbell was director of building services at the International Convention Centre Sydney.

Emma Taylor has joined Premier League football club West Ham United as head of marketing.

Taylor has previously held marketing roles at Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham and has also worked self-employed as a marketing consultant.

Tixr has appointed Stéphane McGarry to lead sports in Canada.

McGarry will serve in a newly created role of vice-president, partnerships and country manager with the aim of spearheading the expansion and building on Tixr’s roster of partners in Canada.
