Ageas Bowl calls on Halo for event safety solutions

The Ageas Bowl, home of Hampshire Cricket, has entered into a partnership with Halo Solutions to streamline event safety and security at the ground.

The Ageas Bowl cited the need for venue and event managers to have access to real-time information to enable rapid and effective decision-making, as well as post-event reporting to support analysis of operational performance.

It is hoped Halo can help the stadium address some of these challenges to drive value for its clients and the visitor experience. Halo streamlines event management from the control room to the staff on the ground, connecting multiple agencies, venue functions and previously disconnected teams.

By using Halo, delivery teams can log and record incidents in real time with user-friendly mobile and desktop applications.

Abigail Moore, head of operations at The Ageas Bowl, said: “We’re really looking forward to working with the Halo team and implementing the system into our matches and everyday operations.

“Its user-friendly appearance, flexibility and ensuring our safety management is streamlined all in one place was a huge reason for us choosing Halo over other platforms. Event safety is a continual improvement journey, the work is never done and we’re excited to take the next steps in our journey with Halo.”

Halo Solutions’ operations executive, Sean Gibbard, added: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome The Ageas Bowl to the Halo community. Their continuous efforts to improve event safety, streamline daily operations and lead industry change, proved Halo and The Ageas Bowl to be a natural partnership. I look forward to working with the team and improving health and safety for everyone, together.”

The Ageas Bowl has a capacity of up to 25,000 for cricket and is regularly used to host international matches as well as Hampshire home games. The stadium is also a major outdoor concert location, hosting events for up to 35,000 people.
